Floware Announces its Second Quarter Preliminary Results

Or Yehuda, Israel, July 3, 2001 - Floware Wireless Systems, Ltd. (NASDAQ: FLRE), a leading provider of broadband wireless access (BWA) communications systems today announced its preliminary results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2001.

The company expects that revenues will be approximately $17.5 million, roughly 14% below first quarter 2001 revenues of $20.3 million and approximately 190% above the second quarter 2000 revenues of $6.1 million. The company will provide full quarterly information and additional guidance on July 26th in conjunction with its second quarter earnings release and conference call.

"The weakness in the telecommunications market, mainly in Europe, continues to impact the network deployment plans of some of our carrier customers," said Amnon Yacoby, CEO of Floware. "We are nevertheless encouraged by the relative stability of our business during the unprecedented turmoil in the telecom markets. We believe that the continuation of deployments by several of our customers as well as our recent penetration into new geographical markets, mainly China, are helping us to weather the current downturn and strengthen our relative market position. We continue to believe in the opportunities in the broadband wireless access market and remain positive in our long term outlook. We also believe that our pending merger with BreezeCOM will further enhance our already strong leadership position in the industry and enable us to exit the current economic slow-down in a significantly stronger position."
